How I did my clown art.

First we got a piece of paper then we got a pencil and drew our clowns. When we were done drawing the clowns we got to go and paint them with crayon paint.  To make the crayon paint we got some crayons and melted them in a muffin tin which sat in water in an electric frypan.  Each colour had its own paintbrush so we  didn't mix all the paint together. We had to paint one stroke at a time as it dried quickly.  The main colour I used was dark green. From the beginning it took quite a long time to paint the clowns as only three people could do it at a time.

What I think about my clown is that i'm proud of it because it makes me happy to look at it.

Free Writing

On Tuesday the 16th of July it was my birthday. I turned 8 years old. But I did not get any friends over because I was moving to a new house and I have been to lots of my friends houses for sleepovers. Soon I will get two friends over for a sleepover. I am so excited for my sleepover. The two friends I am going to choose are Renny and Belinda. My plans for my sleepover are I would like to have a special dinner. The special dinner that I would like is some pizza because I haven’t had it for a very long time and I really like it. We are also going to watch a movie but I haven’t decided which one yet. We won’t stay up all night so we won’t be tired and grumpy on Sunday.

Term Two Reflection

At school my favourite thing to do is reading because  it is fun to learn more words.
When I was younger I had no idea  how to read and since I have been practicing a Iot I have
been learning new words. 

I am great at running at the Cross Country and this year I got second in the Year three girls.  

I need to work  on doing my reading because I want to get better at it. I want to get better at
reading so I can read chapter books. 

My favourite part of the term has been doing art when we have been doing the clowns as I
have been practicing drawing them at home.

There hasn’t been a part of the term that I haven’t liked.                                                               

cross country

On Friday the whole school went to cross country. We had lots of teachers around because we walked to the cross country. It was really really muddy when we were there. My shoes were so so muddy my Mum had to wash them. The place we went to for cross country was  Mr Morison's house, it was their farm. My year group was the second last to start running. I was running my best and I came second. It felt so good to get second I was so proud of myself to came second. Last year I came third and this year I came second. I really like running it is really fun!
