Papercopters

 Today we made papercopters.  We found it hard to get the papercopters to fly properly. We got to put stickers on them once we got them to fly properly.  I put a star and a dog.  My favourite part was racing Renny to see which papercopter was the fastest.  I had fun making the papercopter. It was part of are reading tasks because are reading was about helicopter. Have you ever done it?

kite

 This week we have been making kites this is my kite. It is very fun to make .🪁  Lucy and Xanthe are really good at it so they are kind of the teachers because they got groups  of people and they had to teach us. They are made out of toe toe and we made them for Matariki.

El Grehoe

Yesterday  we had EL Gregoe come. He is a Magician he made all different kinds of birds disappear and come back and even a Rabbit. It was named Fluffy Bum and when he said it he turned Fluffy Bam around and wiggled Fluffy Bum tail. He talked to us about ,  Being Responsible, Respect, Resilient, Empathy and Bullying.

Yesterday  we went down to the garden. I had a shovel and I put it down in dirt and pulled it up. We had to get all of the weeds out. I liked  getting the dirt out and pulling the weeds. It made the garden look tidier  and  we were careful that we did not pull the plants out.

Book creator

 For Cybersmart we had to make are own comic. My comic was about talking with my friends. My favorite part was talking photos. The hardest part was getting the photos and putting the  talking in the right places Have you ever done Book creator?

 This week we did an egg experiment we had to make an egg bawns. We had to put the eggs in viager. We put one egg in white vinegar and they ather egg in malt vinegar to see which vinegar was  the best. We waited three days but then we realised that it took sixs days. Mrs Hickford was bouncing the egg on the table and it fell on the floor and popped. We went outside and  took a meter ruler with us. First we dropped  the  egg from 10cm and it bounced. Next we dropped it from 20cm and it popped. We are doing another egg experiment I hope it goes well.

Scratch

This is my scratch coding. The blown up chicken goes round and round and round. It was fun because sometimes the chicken went crazy. I am proud that I got the bird moving. I chose the background.

Pepeha

Today we were doing a Pepeha we were doing it for our waka. We had to put in are name were we came from and were we live now then we could put some photos in. I live in Hokitika and I come from Christchurch.

St Jonn's

This is me lerning how to put peppul in the recovery pizishan.  And in the other photo we  are lisaning to the persan hou is teaching us she was saying a story about a persan ho got hypo thermia and that is cold and hyper thermia is hot. We had groups and in the ferst photo I was with Jasper and in the sekind photo I was with Renny, Xather and Jack R.  I found it fun because I learnt new things. 

Kite

This is me and my brothers kite that we made. We made it with newspaper, glad wrap roll, ,sellotape, bamboo sticks and ribbons. We made it for a competition. And we made it at home and at bubble school. It flys a little bit, so we were very happy.

Crazy Hair

This is my crazy hair do for crazy hair day and after we finish the crazy hair do we can send it to are principal and at the next assembly the principal will say who are the winners and you came second and third.  Now I will show you how I did it this crazy hair do. I got three peices of my hair and twirled it twirled and made  it in to three bands but I did have to put pins in so the bands would stay there. Then I went in to the bath room and choose three hair colours then I went out side and my Mum sprayed my hair with  the hair colours So I was done. I really like this crazy hair do  because you can make as many bands as you would like and you can choose what ever colour so that was me done and now it is time for my brothers  crazy hair do this is how he did it he picked lots of crazy hair colours and he went outside and our Mum sprayed his hair with all the colours so his hair looked  like a lolly pop and when we were down we went to school with are crazy hair dos.

Birds

One day there were two lovey birds flying in the sky but sadly  they both crashed into the window. One bird died and the other one hurt it's wing and it was sitting  where it fell to rest and then it flew away.

Anzac biscut

This is me and my brother making anzac biscuits it was really fun making it and the anzac biscuits were really good!

Me and my Brother had a friend over and we had a nerf war with her. She also helped us bake cupcakes we had three different colours of the cupcakes wrappers my colour wrapper was blue my Brothers colour wrapper was green are Mum and Dads colour wrapper was red and the last was are friends coloured wrapper her coloured wrapper is yellow that's how we knew whos cupcake was whose.   We decided to make the batter multi coloured by adding different food colours and swirling around.                                                                                                                                                   

Swimming Sports

 This is us at swimming sports that were held on Wednesday 4th March at the Hokitika pool. It was  only for the seniors,  years 4  and 5. I think I came 2 nd and 3rd  in some of the races.
