Swimming Sports

This is us at swimming sports that were held on Wednesday 4th March at the Hokitika pool. It was  only for the seniors,  years 4  and 5. I think I came 2 nd and 3rd  in some of the races.

  1. Kia ora Sofia,
My name is Kieryn and I will be working with Kaniere School to comment on your blog posts over the next two terms.
Well done on creating such a fantastic post about your school’s swimming sports! By the looks of the photos you had an amazing time, and I am so glad that you decided to blog about it.
Swimming is a sport I used to absolutely enjoy when I was younger, however I don’t go swimming a lot now! When I was younger I lived in Australia, and my brothers, sisters and I would go over to our Grandparent’s house and swim in their pool. It was always so hot over there, and when it was time to get out of the pool I used to procrastinate as much as possible so I could stay in the water longer!
My favourite stroke to do was freestyle, however I did enjoy backstroke as well.
    Which stroke is your favourite?
You mentioned how you thought you came 2nd and 3rd for some of the races. It would be awesome if you could find out what you got and let us know!
It is always so exciting when you win something!
    Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
