If I was a principal for a week I  would make a cold and hot pool because if it was a really hot day I would go in it but if it was really cold I would go in the hot pool. And after  the pool I would get the children to do some maths.

Coding

 Today we did Codding with Mr Kinane.  We tryed  making spirals. I found it hard to get the right blocks to make A spiral. The most easy part was putting the numbers in the box's. Today was Mr Kinane's last day with us for the year so we hope he had a great day with us.

Calendar Art

This is my Calendar Art.  It is A picture of me falling into A portal. We had to use pastels to colour in are portal that we made.

Chip graph

This is my graph we did our chip maths on it. We used google sheets. After we finished we got to eat are chips. Some people wanted to swap but I did not want to swap. It was cool to do because we got to see on the screen  how many chips we counted for small medium and large.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Haiku Poem

  

This is my Haiku poem. I really enjoyed it because it is fun to count how many words are in the sentences.

Repeated Addtion

We have been learning to solve multiplication problems using repeated addition. I found it hard to know what I should write.

Colour Poem

I really enjoyed doing my Colour Poem because I had never done it before and plus it was fun to do. My favourite  thing about this was learning how to do it. It was hard at first but I got used to it.

Tynker Term 3

As you can see in the picture there is a green back round with two Cody's. These are the blocks we had to use.  I found it hard to find all the blocks.

This week we were learning what mayhem means it means a situation of great confusion, disorder, trouble or destruction.

Melted Wax Art

How I did my clown art.

First we got a piece of paper then we got a pencil and drew our clowns. When we were done drawing the clowns we got to go and paint them with crayon paint.  To make the crayon paint we got some crayons and melted them in a muffin tin which sat in water in an electric frypan.  Each colour had its own paintbrush so we  didn't mix all the paint together. We had to paint one stroke at a time as it dried quickly.  The main colour I used was dark green. From the beginning it took quite a long time to paint the clowns as only three people could do it at a time.

What I think about my clown is that i'm proud of it because it makes me happy to look at it.

Free Writing

On Tuesday the 16th of July it was my birthday. I turned 8 years old. But I did not get any friends over because I was moving to a new house and I have been to lots of my friends houses for sleepovers. Soon I will get two friends over for a sleepover. I am so excited for my sleepover. The two friends I am going to choose are Renny and Belinda. My plans for my sleepover are I would like to have a special dinner. The special dinner that I would like is some pizza because I haven’t had it for a very long time and I really like it. We are also going to watch a movie but I haven’t decided which one yet. We won’t stay up all night so we won’t be tired and grumpy on Sunday.

Term Two Reflection

At school my favourite thing to do is reading because  it is fun to learn more words.
When I was younger I had no idea  how to read and since I have been practicing a Iot I have
been learning new words. 

I am great at running at the Cross Country and this year I got second in the Year three girls.  

I need to work  on doing my reading because I want to get better at it. I want to get better at
reading so I can read chapter books. 

My favourite part of the term has been doing art when we have been doing the clowns as I
have been practicing drawing them at home.

There hasn’t been a part of the term that I haven’t liked.                                                               

cross country

On Friday the whole school went to cross country. We had lots of teachers around because we walked to the cross country. It was really really muddy when we were there. My shoes were so so muddy my Mum had to wash them. The place we went to for cross country was  Mr Morison's house, it was their farm. My year group was the second last to start running. I was running my best and I came second. It felt so good to get second I was so proud of myself to came second. Last year I came third and this year I came second. Hi my name is Sofia. I go to Kaniere school. I am 7 years old. My favourite food is pizza with bacon on it. I am a year 3 student. My friends are Shae, Renny and Kaylee. I am good at swimming because I can do freestyle. I like doing art. I like going on the bars is at the park. I want to get better at doing maths this year.I am looking forward to doing reading this year.

Doubles To 20

I am learning to do Doubles to twenty. We had to get two numbers the same then we put the two numbers together and it equals a diffrent number.

Cybersmart

I learnt to not drink next to your chrome book because it will break. Not to eat next to your chrome book because the food will go through the holes and break the chrome book. Make sure you stay on the thing you are supposed do.

Maths Shapes

I learnt what a Hexagon is. these are the shapes I used triangles, hexagons and trapeziums. 

Art

First we got a big piece  of paper then we dyed  the piece of paper. We had to let  the paper dry. When the dye  dried we had to print  the writing off and glue it and cut it. Then we had to get our photo taken and get that printed as well.  Then we had to glue our picture to the paper. I could be better at cutting out the words. I think I am good at gluing. I am good at dying the piece of paper.
